Negative-Side Waterproofing
Waterproofing applied on the face opposite to the water pressure, i.e. internally. Used where the external face is inaccessible, usually with crystalline or cementitious systems. It does not stop water entering the structural element; it only stops it reaching the interior. The permanent solution is applied on the external face.
